What the app does
Light Board turns your iPhone or iPad into a light board. You describe what you want, an AI writes the design, and the app displays it full screen at maximum brightness.
Safety — please read this one
- Flashing light. Boards are designed never to flash faster than three times a second, which is the accepted threshold for photosensitive seizures. If you feel unwell, stop using it. If you are photosensitive, do not point it at yourself or at people who have not chosen to look at it.
- Brightness and battery. Playing a board sets the screen to full brightness and keeps the device awake. That drains the battery quickly and warms the device. The previous brightness is restored when you leave the player.
- Where you are. Many venues restrict raised screens, lights or signs. Follow the venue's rules and the people around you; do not use the app while driving, walking in traffic, or anywhere a bright screen would put someone at risk.
What you may display
You are responsible for what your board says. Do not use the app to display unlawful content, harassment or threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, someone's private information, or material that infringes another person's rights. We may refuse to generate content that breaks these rules.
AI-generated designs
Boards are generated by a machine learning model. They may not match your description, may contain mistakes, and may resemble designs produced for other people. Check a board before you rely on it. Boards that fail to display are not charged against your quota.
Quota, subscriptions and the board pack
- One round is one reply from the AI that produces a board the app can display. Refusals, failures and errors are not counted.
- New installations include a small free allowance. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period.
- The board pack is a one-time purchase of a fixed number of rounds. It does not expire, and it is consumed only after any free allowance and any monthly subscription allowance for the current period have been used.
- Payment is taken by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms; we cannot issue them.
Availability and changes
The app depends on services we do not control, and generation may be unavailable at times. We may change quota amounts, prices and features; material changes will be reflected on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
